Somatic therapy focuses on the mind-body connection by helping individuals increase awareness of physical sensations, to regulate emotions, and release trauma-related tension through techniques like breathwork, movement and meditation. The sessions is concluded with a sound bath which is an immersive meditative experience where participants relax and take in the vibrations of various instruments, such as gongs and singing bowls. The Sound Bath is designed to promote deep relaxation, calm the nervous system, and induce a parasympathetic nervous system which is the calming rest and digest state.
